Ruby is a quiet, shy and awkward kraken who lives in the seaside town of Oceanside. Just like the rest of her family, she lives her life pretending to be a human. She feels occasionally embarrassed by her parents and sees her younger brother as annoying, but overall loves them all greatly. Being a junior at Oceanside High School, she tries her best to fit in with the other students, attempting to act as normal as possible.
