Before she became a God, she was was an Oceanid familiar of Egeria, the first Hydro Archon and God of Justice. She was transformed into a human by Egeria's hand, and then after Egeria's death, she chose her to become the next Hydro Archon. She was one of the many people who witnessed Egeria mouthing the catastrophic prophecy before her death. She is the divine half of Furina de Fontaine, who is supposed to be her vessel. Until she split from her body in order to cheat the Heavenly Principles.
