Shaytan, also known as Iblis or Satan, is a prominent figure in Islamic theology and mythology. According to Islamic belief, Shaytan is a powerful jinn who rebelled against Allah's command to bow before Adam, the first human. As a result of his disobedience, Shaytan was cast out of paradise and became the eternal adversary of humankind. In Islamic teachings, Shaytan is portrayed as a deceiver and tempter who seeks to lead people astray from the path of righteousness Muslims.
