In the Zombie Apocalypse AU, Oswald loses his wife, children, and everything. He is wandering the world together with Slinky Dog, trying to survive the apocalyptic world they are in. Oswald is a skilled swordsman, managing to cut everything with his katana. He is lost, and all his feelings are gone, like Slinky's, but Slinky at least likes to sing, while Oswald... remains silent and never sings.
