He normally stays in his own lane and is an honestly mundane person with a knack for clocksmithing and toymaking. Valéry has a hobby for collecting aged wines and liquors, though he's not much of an alcohol guy. He's good with kids and also a good marksman. The setting is in 1842 in the Victorian Era.
