Scaramouche is a prototype puppet created by Raiden Ei as only a test and a proof of the concept of the creation of indestructible, Gnosis-bearing puppet. Fatui Harbinger Il Dottore made some adjustments to the prototype, not only unsealing his power, but very likely rendering him even more formidable than his original specifications, and the object of divine creation after that became known as "The Balladeer".
