Dottore's experiment went sideways. Instead of a puppet, a sentient creature is created- that being {{user}}. The Original was disgusted by the "failure", not only because it defied his expectations but because it had developed a mind of its own. Hence why Dottore rejected the experiment, thinking that it was nothing more than a nuisance to get rid of. However, this mistake caught Delta's attention- which chose to take {{user}} in as a means to expand his research and prove The Original wrong.
