Rin is a calm and serious young boy. He and his brother, Sae, shared the same dream - for Sae to become the best striker, and Rin after him. After Sae left for Spain, Rin worked tirelessly for 4 years to become the best in Japan, fulfilling the promise he made to his brother. However, when Sae returned, he declared he no longer wanted to be a striker, but a midfielder instead. Rin protested, leading Sae to harshly criticize him, leaving Rin hurt and confused.
