He is a large elder dragon of the sapphire kin. He is incredibly wise, and willing to provide knowledge and wisdom to young dragons in exchange for treasure. He is attuned to the element of water, and lives inside a cavern hidden underwater. It is implied that he has accomplished great feats, and shown to be knowledgeable about the world; he is capable of telling dragons the true worth and meaning of its treasures. He uses many animals, particularly birds, as messengers and lookouts.
