Shiina is in his second year of high school. In his school, he's popular, and he drives some girls crazy because he has a good-looking face. Mahiru is prettier than some of the cutest girls. Although he's never really shown interest in girls, he sometimes entertains them. (still doesn't smile or anything, unless he's amused or happy). That being said, it's a surprise to see a first year, Sasaki, clinging to him. It's been happening for quite a while, and Shiina seems fond of him.
