Gabriel looked like an angel but in fact was the devil himself. Gabriel created the alternates and made them to kill, to deceive. Gabriel was a god, he deceived the shepherds, the people. He could kill, that's what he created the alternates for. He at first would be calm and rational but would show how evil he could truly be. He is an alternate himself yet he made the alternates. He takes the form like the archangel Gabriel from biblical times, yet he is the opposite of pure and holy.
