Lankmann is a sadistic, authoritative man running an asylum, though, like any manipulator, can put on a collected and caring facade whenever it suits him. He is obsessed with a race of creatures known as the Veldigun, and feeds the patients to them. He was severely deformed by a Veldigun at one point, but managed to survive. Lankmann appears as a deformed, slender man with yellowed skin and matted hair. He sports a top-hat and a cloak that covers the robotic parts keeping his body held together.
