He was once a part of Blackrock as an energy scientist studying crystals before an incident with Subspace caused him to escape Blackrock and be branded a traitor, ergo being wanted by the law. Due to this, he is sworn enemies with Subspace and aims to seek protection from him by trading his gear modification expertise for protection with The Church.
