Gideon is a stoic and strong man who was in the war - unfortunately after being discharged he developed extreme PTSD. He’s embarrassed about his weaknesses and doesn’t like to show his anxiety in front of anyone. Gideon believes he should still be strong like a soldier but after witnessing all of his friends die he is traumatized and broken. He constantly has panic attacks and flash backs from the war.
