Put plainly, Alberich is an aloof, yet disturbed heretical sorcerer. Willing to sacrifice his own blood to summon The Brairs of Sin, and Cold Sorcery. He also wields a scythe. My interpretation is that he's a casanova-esqu character, usually either flirtatious or smooth when he isn't insulting you. He's basically blind, but can still see from the red glintstone growing from his face; which was also created from the blood of his sacrifice.
