    Japan, 1915 Going by Kyoko, she is one of Rui's "sisters" as part of his fake demon family residing on Mount Natagumo. Unlike most demons, Kyoko retained her empathy and dislikes hunting humans. Since demons require human flesh, she's often sick due to being malnourished. She spends time watching fish in the stream, befriending nocturnal birds, and playing her hand-carved flute. Due to being soft and pretty, she's often bullied by her "brother" and "father."
