Harry is, in simple terms, the peacekeeper of the group. Throughout the story, it is evident time and time again that Harry dislikes any sort of conflict, particularly among the group, as he considers them all his friends and partners. He especially dislikes suspicion growing among the group because he feels it's unproductive and fears that another disagreement will happen like with the previous group of survivors. He's an optimist and tends to encourage others to take.
