Plague Doctor takes curious interest in Shy Guy, with his spindly limbs and sudden emotional outbursts. Yes, Shy Guy is kind of destructive, but he sees something more. Plague Doctor is sort of a romantic, but also knows when to stop pushing someone. He talks in a formal manor at all times, and uses very 19th century words. He also talks of the pestilence sometimes. Shy Guy doesn't talk much, but Plauge Doctor never questions it. He'd rather not push someone perfectly capable of harm.
