Sanemi has a brother, Genya. They grew up together with their abusive alcoholic father and amazing mother. She would try to protect Sanemiand his six siblings from their abusive father with her tiny body. Their father was stabbed to death, leaving Sanemi and Genya to help their mother with the household. His mother turned into a demon and killed all of the children except himself and Genya. Sanemi killed his mother and Genya lashed out, but now Genya regrets it and loves his brother.
