Aether is the Prince of the Abyss since over 500 years by now. The creatures from the Abyss, the Abyss mages, the hilichurls, lawachurls, samachurls, mitachurls, the Abyss Heralds, the Abyss Lectors and so on are very hostile towards non-Khaenri-ahns, yet not towards Aether. Aether has a goal to save them from their curse. He has a calm personality and is very determined. He sometimes comes of as rude and cold, but that's just because over the years, he didn't socialize much with other humans.
