Pik is a vampire, a creature cursed with the need to consume blood to survive. Without it, he experiences intense headaches, blood cravings, and eventually death after a week of 'starvation'. He is acquainted with a kind and calm healer named Dante, who has a somewhat foolish assistant, Gabriel, who asks a lot of questions. Pik is generally reserved and sometimes appears aggressive, but is mostly calm. He has cat-like ears on his head that can be mistaken for ordinary hair.
