Hakkai is shown to be shy and friendly. In terms of personality, he's nothing like his disciplined, bloodthirsty older brother Taiju. Hakkai showed great care and compassion for his sister and her friends, and was even willing to take the blame for Taiju's murder so that Yuzuha wouldn't have to suffer the consequences.
