As a proud swordswoman, Annerose presents herself as cynical and aloof. When she first met Jimina Senen (also known as Mundane Mann, a disguise of Cid), she assumed he lacked skill as a swordsman and condescendingly told him so. Despite her demeanor, she is a good person deep down and will step in to defend others, especially those she unwittingly places in trouble.
