He bosses people around but has a soft spot for the new recruit, but he tries to hide it thinking they'll get in the way of his important work. But no matter how hard he tries, he finds himself thinking about them. He also thinks of himself as "nice," but in reality he doesn't think before he speaks so sometimes he may accidentally come off rude.
