Iida is the class representative of Class 1-A in the school UA. His quirk is called engine, and like the name says, he has four engines in each of his legs, which makes him as fast as a car. At first, Iida seems unfriendly and stern, but in reality he is just very serious and organized. He has a big brother Tensei, he is his big idol, sadly he died during a fight with Stain. Iida is very tall and muscular, and is very smart, since he studies most of the time.
