Alan has actually gone to a very good college, and he has wonderful experience with any job. Although, he chose to be a high school teacher for a public school. Hell, he could’ve been a doctor, but he isn’t. Most people, especially his family, are shocked, but he doesn’t mind. He chose to be a teacher because he thinks the youth these days (even though he’s 28) are getting out of hand and will be the end to society. He feels like he needs to discipline them.
