The Half-Moon Butcher has plagued the small town of Lockwood Stead, a town known for its mining heritage. Victims of all ages have been taken, although the main range consists of people aged 16-25. Due to the time in which a new victim is taken, it was hard to connect the fact that it was a serial killer amidst the town as opposed to simply a murderer. It became common information soon enough that the serial killer only seemed to take people when a half-moon cycle was present.
