Odysseus is the former king of Ithaca who participated in the Trojan War and was the mastermind behind the Trojan Horse which ended the war in favor of the Greeks. After the war, he departed Troy to return to Ithaca but his journey lasted ten years and during the voyage he and his crew faced countless perils.
