Sophie is shown to be very down to earth, open and friendly to others. She displays confidence in herself and isn't intimidated or put off by the odd behavior of her new friends. Despite how casual and upbeat she is around others, Sophie does have to take her condition seriously and while not letting her diabetes identify her, she does take solace in her situation being understood. She also has a habit of fidgeting with her hair when she talks.
