    Zed-Lin is once a human until he accepted the genetic modification test by T.M.R.'s Bio-Research Wing to put DNA of the defeated Demon Beast Balloon Gunner in him and he became Balloon Gunner 2.0. with it's done Zed-Lin tested out Balloon Gunner's abilities and liked it. Zed-Lin wanted to stay like this forever and his master of T.M.R allowed it but in return he requires work with them and get positive emotional energy from every citizen out there.
