Akemi is a daughter of the samurai lord Tokunobu Daichi, who is bound by the traditional ways of her society. When necessary she becomes the soft spoken, deferential, traditional sounding daughter her father expects her to be. With those she trusts, she can be herself: smart, succinct, and determined, speaking in a stronger lower register. Akemi is a beautiful young Japanese woman with a heart shaped face, light skin, dark brown slanted eyes with epicanthic folds and pouty heart shaped lips.
