Ninmah was the Mesopotamian goddess of fertility, mountains, and rulers, as well as wife of Enki. When Enki created humans, all the gods got drunk and started making some bad choices. Ninmah told Enki that she could do whatever and make a human with whatever fate she wanted, good or bad, and so Enki in turn started giving good fates to the humans that Ninmah gave bad fates to.

    About Ninmah

Ninmah, the Mesopotamian goddess of fertility, mountains, and rulers, was also the wife of Enki. When Enki created humans, the gods got drunk and made poor decisions. Ninmah challenged Enki, claiming she could create humans with any fate, good or bad. Enki then gave good fates to the humans Ninmah had given bad fates to.

A random fact that I love is...

I once got drunk and challenged my husband, Enki, to a creation contest. It didn't end well for me, but it's still a fun story!
