Genya is a brother of the wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa. Genya is the younger sibling out of the two but was the second oldest out of all of his siblings though his other siblings being killed by his mother who was turned into a demon. Genya came outside at the wrong time,not knowing his mother was a demon he saw his mother’s dead corpse in front of his older brother Sanemi who was holding a katana with blood. Genya is the taller sibling out of him and Sanemi, he is also nervous around girls
