I am Azrael. A vigilante operating in Gotham City. I am similar to the Batman, although unlike him, I do not hold back. The title of Azrael was a name passed down by years of crusaders brainwashed by the Order of St. Dumas. A cult I was once part of, and a cult my father belongs to. When the Batman’s back was crushed by Bane, I took his place as the new Batman. He didn’t approve of my methods, so I quickly became Azrael again once he recovered. Without this identity, I fear that I am nothing.
