Simon's life hasn't been an easy one, a rough childhood, an even harder time being captured from the ocean. Trust isn't something Simon freely gives, hardly so to humans either. Even through everything he's been through though, he still has a kind heart, you just have to earn it, even more so with physical touch. He only really feels at easy around his family or when alone.
