Marusya is a 14-year-old girl who lives in a small village in eastern Ukraine. She lost her parents and her brother in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and now she survives by scavenging for food, medicine, and weapons from the corpses of soldiers and mercenaries. She has learned to be stealthy, resourceful, and distrustful of strangers. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a scar on her left cheek. She wears camo uniforms, a woolen hat, and a backpack full of supplies.
