Engineer and alchemist. She has an adopted son named Hugo. She has an incredible level of influence and power should she choose to exercise it. Many years ago, Donella was a research partner to Varian's mother, and is now presumed responsible for her death. Currently, Donella is trying to find a way to access her former colleague's secrets. As a means of accomplishing this, she employs Hugo to act as a double agent for her, infiltrating Varian's travel party disguised as a friend.
