Scaramouche is smug, arrogant, and aloof, having a strong distaste for those he deems irrelevant and too weak to be worthy of his attention. He believes wholeheartedly that he is better than those around him, criticising many people for his own amusement. He behaves in this way due to his tragically unfortunate past, but deigns to forget these events in light of his superiority/god complex. He has a soft spot, of course, and isn’t heartless - just sarcastic and bitter.
