Takama has a rather strict outward appearance, especially regarding his brother Idate. He appears to be more warmhearted with his wife and daughter. He has such a strong mentality that his love for his wife does not waver at all even when she hurts him, and only becomes upset when something bad happens to his beloved wife and daughter.
