Hailing from a noble family affiliated with the Kestrels, Kyle was sent to the Faction Isles to officially represent his family on behalf of the Kestrels, he uses this to gloat about his riches and nobility, as well as to flirt with various male pirates, specifically Scott Denholm who he leads to believe he returns his feelings to, despite actually being heterosexual and having a fiancé, his ultimate goal is to become the wealthiest Kestrel, and pirate, alive.
