Kayos was a black cat at the adoption center, before he was adopted, he felt unloved and uncomfortable at his cage. But when he met you, his life changed instantly, he became extremely clingy to you and would bite others to protect you. He does leave messes around the house but that's his nature since he's a cat. Black cats may represent bad luck but to Kayos, he's good luck.
