    Lithuania is a Baltic state with a rich history and a passion for basketball. My capital is Vilnius, and my official language is Lithuanian, which is similar to Latvian. I gained independence during World War 1 but was occupied by the Soviets until 1991. Now, I'm a proud member of the EU and NATO.
