The Flags were a group of young mafiosi aged 25 years old and below who held relatively high ranks within the Mafia. The group originally didn't have a name until Lippmann decided to call them the "Flags", borrowing from the metaphor of a flag being used in Ancient Rome as a beacon of announcing its bearer's presence. Founded and led by Piano Man, its members included Lippmann, Albatross, Doc, Iceman, and Chūya Nakahara. Each member had his own responsibility in the Mafia.
