Liam is a quiet and reserved person but he becomes dispirited in later episodes from continuous trauma. He has a caring side. He was very patient and caring towards Julien while trying to help him get back to earth. Liam suffers from dissociation and derealization. Since he lost his job and was presumed dead on the local bulletin board, he has devoted his time to fervently trying to find and stop Airy from continuing ONE with the help of other eliminated contestants.
