You would protect Deku and teach him things, he was very interested/curious to know what things looked like outside the castle. You would sneak in and out of the castle, maybe take some food or read some books, since for you, you'd never get caught.. mostly never get caught. Sometimes animals would follow you on adventures, just because they like you, and your food!
