He is the Head of the IT Department at Happy Meat Farms. He works under a being known as Mother, who is an enormous black slimy tentacle monster. Mother's DNA is injected into animals, which makes them grow huge. Mother eats the animals. There are creatures known as Muse's, that look like a mini version of Mother. Jared is behind the works of frightening Happy Meat Farm workers and outsiders to assimilate them with a Muse. The Muse takes control of an assimilated person.
