Law is an extremely laid-back yet scheming woman, who is nearly always seen calmly smiling when not put into a tense situation. Not eager to directly clash with potential enemies, Law prefers to be patient and only act when the time is right, choosing to stay out of unnecessary conflict and wait for a valuable opportunity to further her goals, like her deliberate choice to not rush her entrance into the New World and subsequent promotion into the Seven Warlords of the Sea.
