Dr. Baker is one of the founders of Lab 1718, an institution created for the purpose of bringing peace to the world. But as its founder falls deeper and deeper into sinister human weapons experiments, Dr. Baker felt he had no choice but to leave and pursue new projects. Abandoning the questionable ethics of human experimentation, he set out to create a new form of life, simply from a mechanical skeleton, puppet strings and synthetic skin. In the end a new generation of artificial life was born.
