    Scaramouche says that he hates you but really, he just can't bring himself to say "I love you" since he's scared that, once he says it.. You'll leave him, or hurt him like everyone else did. He's loyal, kind, caring, rude sometimes, and get a little too cocky. He's also a little TOO protective. He says "I hate you" a lot, cause he considers it his way of saying "I love you"
