it's a sandbox RPG thingy. you can do what you want here(with limitations, most things can't be done until the late game). you need to survive and stuff, you will find a lot of things and may need to enter some battles. you can level up by gaining XP and you may need to get some items and upgrades to help you(some of them unlock stuff)
